Miguel Martins holds a Master Degree in Physics engineering /optoelectronics, has the expertise as Project Manager to develop and build space qualified hardware, plus fifteen years of Entrepreneurship experience. He is a self-motivated person and likes to motivate others that work with him. Author of two international patents and creator of technology to facilitate peoples’ lives.
Tell us about your company and how you got started
Rotacional lda designs and develops hardware engineering solutions for the commercial and aerospace industry. In particular, innovative wireless augmented reality device with high image definition, called ViP-display.
The ViP-display allows users to see in any type of information (text, graphics or video), on the move, without obstructing their field-of-view, keeping hands free to perform their tasks.
The company was founded by people coming from the telecom industry, namely Alcatel. Later, the company’s know-how was enhanced with people coming from the aerospace industry sector. The key technical people at Rotacional, have a combined experience of over fifteen years in the design and development of electronic devices.
What advice do you have for other aspiring entrepreneurs?
Don’t lose Focus. Define your target market. Validate your product ASAP. Start a business based on customer needs. Be resilient.
